Ms. Clark has been the Coordinator of the Carolina Institute's Research Registry Participation Core since it began in 2001. In addition to overseeing the design, development, and operation of the core’s fragile X and autism registries, she has supervised the expansion of the core to include a Child Development registry of infants and a general registry for intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Registries serve approximately 15 studies per year. Ms. Clark began her career in developmental disabilities research in 1994 at UNC working on a longitudinal study of development of boys with fragile X syndrome with Don Bailey and Deborah Hatton. She also worked with Dr. Mark Wolery on a project investigating inclusion practices in early elementary classrooms.
